Sam and Tusker are traveling across England in their old RV to visit friends, family and places from their past. Since Tusker was diagnosed with dementia two years ago, their time together is the most important thing they have.
Supernova is a movie I’ve had on my radar for the longest time now, I’ve heard several great things about it before going into it. Supernova did not disappoint at all, first things first let’s get the obvious out of the way. Colin Firth and Stanley Tucci are absolutely incredible in their roles, they both give raw, emotional and flawless performances that really bring you to tears, they went all out in their roles and did quite a fantastic job. The chemistry between the two is fantastic, every single time they are on screen together (which is pretty much all the time) they truly shine. The writing here feels incredibly natural, the writers did quite a great job when it comes to wanting emotions such as sadness from the audience. One major thing I have to praise this movie for is this a movie about a gay couple where main plot doesn’t focus on them struggling with their sexuality or homophobia. It’s very refreshing to see and truly something a lot different. This movie really hits you in the gut multiple times, it’s quite a fantastic film that I highly recommend checking out!!
